Michelle Benitez

Michelle Benetiz with her sons Malakai and Jaelyn

“My two little boys deserve a home, a backyard to play in and a neighborhood where they can grow and build lifelong relationships,” believes Michelle Benitez. She believes it so strongly that she pledged to fully to the responsibility of homeownership.

“It won’t be easy,” Michelle said, “but I’m willing to go beyond my call of duty.” Find out how Michelle did that for her boys.

Habitat homeowners are hardworking, diligent families who understand that responsible homeownership doesn’t end at the closing table, it begins there. Habitat’s zero-percent  mortgages enable homeowners to successfully manage their finances. Many are able to pay off their mortgages, and when they do, we celebrate with a mortgage burning ceremony!
