Sales Associate for Furniture and Building Supplies Resale Store

Friendly, high-energy people needed to provide outstanding customer service for two resale locations that provide funds for the affordable home ownership mission of Habitat for Humanity.   Flexible hours, opportunity for advancement, and the satisfaction of working for one of the top non-profit organizations in the country!  Duties include selling and merchandising new and used furniture, housewares, building supplies, appliances and more, operating a cash register, answering inquiries, etc.

Candidates should:

  • Enjoy working with people and helping them solve their problems
  • Have strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Be computer literate
  • Be able to lift/move heavy items such as furniture
  • Have a valid Florida drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Retail experience and/or construction knowledge are desired, but not required

Driving Ambassador for Furniture and Building Supplies Resale Store

Friendly, high-energy people needed to provide outstanding customer service for two resale locations that provide funds for the affordable homeownership mission of Habitat for Humanity.   Flexible hours, opportunity for advancement, and the satisfaction of working for one of the top non-profit organizations in the country!  Duties include driving a box truck to pick up new and used merchandise, greeting and thanking donors, carefully loading and unloading furniture, appliances, and other heavy merchandise.  Drivers will be cross-trained to also be able to perform other duties within the store.

Candidates should:

  • Enjoy working with people
  • Have  good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Have an excellent driving record and a valid Florida drivers license (commercial license not required)
  • Be able to lift 90 pounds
  • Be careful and conscientious
  • Have  reliable transportation
