What you need to know to construct homes with us!

If it's raining call Eduardo 292-8963 or Supervisor at site.

No construction experience is necessary! Habitat construction supervisors are trained to teach their construction skill to volunteers in an easy and understandable manner.

If you have any construction tools, please bring them with you to the job site. We have plenty, but it's always nice to have extras in case we have unequipped volunteers.

Wear sturdy shoes, a hat and comfortable clothing.

Bring these items with you to the jobsite: water, sunscreen and lunch (also a HAMMER, NAIL APRON, TAPE MEASURE, PENCIL, GLOVES, and HARD HAT if you have them).

The Construction schedule may change daily based on weather conditions and inspections; check the website construction schedule or call for new updates before heading out to a worksite. The Supervisor will meet you at your assigned location and direct you to the projects of the day. Be sure to sign up for a worksite 24 hours in advance to ensure enough materials will be at the site.
