Habitat for Humanity of Lee County, Inc. employs its best efforts to protect and honor the privacy of our online visitors and donors. We will never share your personal information with third parties. We will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information with anyone who may want to offer you their own products or services. To that end, we maintain control of our own mailing lists. Our mailings are never outsourced. Additionally, we recognize that many donors choose to remain anonymous and always respect those wishes.
Is Credit Card Information Secure?
We are concerned about the safety and security of your online credit card transaction. We use high-grade encryption and the “https” security protocol to communicate with your computer’s browser software. This is the industry standard in security protocol. This method makes it extremely difficult for unauthorized users outside of Habitat for Humanity of Lee County, Inc. to intercept your credit card information. This same high-grade encryption is also the standard for any personal information that you may share with us. Both our Donation Form page and Home page contain a High Assurance SSL Certificate logo that, when clicked, will verify that transactions on our site are protected with 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption. This certificate is currently valid until 2008.
