What is Women Build? Why is Women Build needed? How does Women Build help? Get the answers here.

Over the past four years, Women Build sponsors, donors and volunteers in Southwest Florida have helped provide eight homes to families in need. In 2015 we hope to provide two more! Teams are forming now to raise the funds to rehab the two homes. Are you ready to start your own fundraising team? Join a fundraising team? Donate to Women Build? Vanessa and Ashley,
our Women Build 2014 Homeowners

Our local efforts are part of an international movement in which more than 2,200 homes have been built or rehabbed by women crews in the United States, dozens more in countries around the world. The program began with a group of women in Charlotte, North Carolina and gained momentum with the support of women leaders from the grassroots level up to the White House. You can read about the rich history of Women Build here.

Women Build is about lots of us working together to help families in our community. Here’s what Women Build volunteer and middle school principal Jeananne Folaros has to say about how Habitat gives students the stability they need…in her own words.
